Welcome to Survival Perspectives.
This blog is about my journey after leaving an abusive ex-husband. The trauma I endured and the aftermath.
I share explicit information, which can be triggering for anyone who suffers from PTSD, depression, suicidal ideations, stalking, harassment or paranoia.
This site is for anyone who has dealt or is currently dealing with domestic violence, mental health or the simple struggles of life. Everyone has a different opinion, therefore perspective in regards to how domestics and mental health happen. Here I speak about my previous or current struggles, which may relate to many dealing with their own.
Domestic violence and mental health is not rare. Sadly it is more common than we like to believe or even accept. October may be National Domestic Violence Awareness Month, but that doesn’t mean wait until October to speak or listen.
The more that we choose not to talk about domestic violence, the more we shy away from the issue, the more we lose.Russell Wilson
